This is education, not advice
The information here is written for the general reader and does not replace a personal consultation. It cannot tell you whether a line is produced by movement or by lost volume, or how your face will respond to either substance.
No outcome is guaranteed
No injectable treatment can be guaranteed. How much a line softens, how long the effect lasts and how the area settles afterwards vary between individuals, and a result is judged honestly only after the effect has settled.
Nothing here is permanent
Both treatments are temporary and both are repeated. Muscle relaxation fades as the nerve endings recover, filler is broken down over months, and neither stops the muscle from moving or the face from continuing to change with age.
The risks are real for both
The muscle-relaxing injectable can weaken a neighbouring muscle and produce a droop or an asymmetry, which usually resolves as the effect fades. Filler can produce lumps, irregularity and delayed reactions, and rarely a vascular occlusion, which is a medical emergency. Both require an injector able to recognise and treat what goes wrong.
